This year, LinkUp is partnering with the Magee-Womens Specialty Center, Altoona in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. 10% of all registration fees will go to support this life saving organization. The Magee-Womens Specialty Center, Altoona will have an exhibit booth at LinKUp, along with Dr. Diane Craig, MD, FACS, Medical Director of Breast Health at UPMC Altoona and Dr. Lauren Deur, MD, Director of Breast Imaging, speaking prior to the keynote address.

The goal of the staff at the Breast Health Center is compassionate care, focused on each woman’s individual needs. Their team’s mission is to ensure optimal care by listening carefully, understanding fully, and treating compassionately.
The caregiving team has access to the newest research from UPMC. With that research and the direct relationship with Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh for all the latest treatment options, they create an individualized care plan for every patient.
The Magee-Womens Specialty Center also offers genetic testing and counseling by UPMC experts for patients with a strong family history of breast cancer.
Dr. Craig is certified by the American Board of Surgery and performs the most current surgical procedures. She treats breast cancer, benign breast mass, nipple discharge, breast abscess and infection, breast pain, and abnormal axillary lymph nodes.
Dr. Craig also performs ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, stereotactic breast biopsy, excisional breast biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, insertion of MammoSite® and Savi® brachytherapy radiation therapy devices, and port placement for chemotherapy infusion.
Dr. Lauren Deur, MD, a board-certified, fellowship-trained diagnostic radiologist with UPMC Altoona Radiology She attended and graduated from Albert Einstein College Of Medicine Of Yeshiva University in 1996, having over 21 years of diverse experience, especially in Diagnostic Radiology.
